In addition to this purpose it has been tried to realize a structure such as to make the premises accessible for possible visits to the exhibition area, choosing valuable finishes to give to the area, purely made for experimental tests, a high architectural performance. The first line of plant research is related to biomass. Since prunings and trimmings are wood-cellulosic biomasses, the most suitable technology for energy valorization is direct combustion in boilers. It was decided not to limit the use of the biomass boiler only for experimental purposes, but to integrate it with the existing heating system. The second line of plant is related to the generation of hydrogen with electrolytic cell powered by photovoltaic panels and use with fuel cell of hydrogen produced in this way. The main purpose of the photovoltaic system was to test many small systems for each technology available on the market with 11ntento evaluate the performance of the individual device in the same environmental conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Building works<\/strong>: the building, realized to host inside 4 shelters, has been realized with a reticular structure in acriaio, insulated sheet finishing and low emissive windows. The main works of the site involved the preparation of the underground lines connecting the various technological areas and the preparation of the areas on which to lay the prefabricated containers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installations<\/strong>: heating and cooling system for the laboratory, water and sanitary system and water and gas network connections to the project equipment, connection system between the biomass energy production system and the existing heating system, electrical and special systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Customers Desk<\/strong><br \/>The intervention concerned the enlargement of the customers&#8217; desk through the reorganization of the working spaces and of the spaces intended for the reception (new waiting room, new toilet for users, new information desk) and the revision of the electrical systems. It involved a minimal extension, aimed at incorporating in the main volumetric shape of the entrance hall, two open air voids. The new external curtain walls have been realized in exposed reinforced concrete. On them have been restored the existing lights and prolonged the flat cover that encloses the entire projecting body. Oltre a tale scopo si \u00e8 cercato di realizzare una struttura tale da rendere i locali agibili per eventuali visite ad area espositiva, scegliendo finiture di pregio per dare all'area, puramente realizzata per prove sperimentali, un alto rendimento architettonico. Il primo filone impiantistico di ricerca \u00e8 quello relativo alle biomasse. Essendo potature e sfalci biomasse di tipo ligneo-cellulosico, la tecnologia di valorizzazione energetica pi\u00f9 adatta \u00e8 risultata essere la combustione diretta in caldaia. Si \u00e8 scelto di non limitare l'utilizzo della caldaia a biomassa ai soli fini sperimentali, ma di integrarla con l'esistente impianto di riscaldamento. Il secondo filone impiantistico \u00e8 quello relativo alla generazione di idrogeno con cella elettrolitica alimentata da pannelli fotovoltaici ed impiego con fuel cell dell'idrogeno cos\u00ec prodotto. Lo scopo principale dell'impianto fotovoltaico \u00e8 stato di testare tanti impianti di piccola taglia per ogni tecnologia disponibile sul mercato con 11ntento di valutare le prestazioni del singolo dispositivo nelle medesime condizioni ambientali.<\/p><p><strong>Opere edili<\/strong>: l'edificio, realizzato per ospitare al suo interno 4 shelter, \u00e8 stato realizzato in struttura reticolare in acriaio, finiture in lamiera coibentata e serramenti a basso emissivo. Le principali opere di cantiere hanno riguardato la predisposizione delle linee interrate di collegamento impiantistico tra i diversi ambiti tecnologici e nella preparazione dei sedimi sui quali adagiare i container prefabbricati.<\/p><p><strong>Impianti<\/strong>: sono stati realizzati impianto di riscaldamento e raffrescamento laboratorio; impianto idrico-sanitario e adduzioni reti acqua e gas alle apparecchiature di progetto; impianto di collegamento tra il sistema di produzione di energia a biomasse e 11mpianto di riscaldamento esistente; impianti elettrici e speciali.<\/p><p><strong>Sportello Clienti<\/strong> <br \/>L'intervento ha riguardato l'ampliamento dello sportello clienti mediante la riorganizzazione degli spazi di lavoro e degli spazi destinati all'accoglienza (nuova sala d'attesa, nuovo servizio igienico destinato all'utenza, nuovo banco informazioni) e la revisione degli impianti elettrici. Ha riguardato un minimale intervento di ampliamento, teso ad inglobare nella sagoma volumetrica principale dell'atrio di ingresso, due vuoti a cielo aperto. I nuovi tamponamenti esterni sono stati realizzati in e.a. a vista. Sugli stessi sono state ripristinate le luci esistenti e prolungata la copertura piana che cniude superiomiente l'intero corpo aggettante.
