Foundations geometry<\/strong><\/p>\n Given the intensity of the actions discharged and considering the geotechnical conditions of the ground (to which must be added the high risk of liquefaction) it was considered necessary to use deep foundations in order to involve a greater volume of soil, spreading the stresses more and involving soil horizons with better mechanical properties. Piles of different diameters and construction technology were chosen for reasons of feasibility and load magnitude. Tutte queste indagini integrative eseguite nel 2017 hanno permesso di accertare e studiare al meglio l\u2019entit\u00e0 del rischio di liquefazione in modo da poter eseguire una progettazione robusta delle fondazioni.<\/p> [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=\"3. Geometria fondazioni<\/strong><\/p> Data l\u2019intensit\u00e0 delle azioni scaricate e considerate le condizioni geotecniche del terreno (a cui va aggiunto anche il rischio di liquefazione elevato) si \u00e8 ritenuto comunque necessario impiegare fondazioni profonde in modo da interessare un maggior volume di terreno, diffondendo maggiormente le sollecitazioni ed andando a coinvolgere orizzonti di suolo dalle migliori propriet\u00e0 meccaniche. Sono stati scelti pali di diverso diametro e tecnologia costruttiva per motivi di fattibilit\u00e0 e di entit\u00e0 di carichi. At the present time the sports hall has a reinforced concrete frame structure with a wooden reticular covering. On one of the major sides of the playing field there is a grandstand and, on the same side, there are also some rooms at one level above ground containing technical rooms and locker rooms.
It was found a high risk of liquefaction so the particularity of the project consisted in the design of the foundations of the extension and verification of existing foundations considering this phenomenon.<\/p>\n

In particular, micropiles with diameter \u03c6 220 mm of length L = 15.0 m and L = 22.0 m and FDP type piles \u03c6 600 mm of length L = 15.0 m were chosen to be used in the portion of the existing arena, and FDP type piles \u03c6 600 mm of length L = 22.0 m in the extension area (seismic-resistant partitions and new grandstand).
Sub-horizontal drains were also used to mitigate the risk of liquefaction in the portion of the existing technical rooms \/ locker rooms. In the light of the high risk of liquefaction, in the design of the foundations it has been taken into account the theory of Madabhushi, Cubrinovski and many other authors involved in the design of foundation piles in the presence of liquefaction.<\/p>\nPROGETTO DELLE FONDAZIONI DELL\u2019AMPLIAMENTO DEL PALAZZETTO DI CENTO<\/h3>

PRESTAZIONI SVOLTE<\/strong>: progetto esecutivo delle fondazioni dell\u2019ampliamento del Palazzetto di Cento e adeguamento sismico delle fondazioni esistenti
INIZIO\/FINE LAVORI<\/strong>: 2016\/2020<\/p>
Allo stato attuale il palazzetto presenta una struttura a telaio in c.c.a. con copertura reticolare in legno. Su uno dei lati maggiori del campo da gioco \u00e8 presente una tribuna e, sullo stesso lato, sono anche presenti dei locali ad un solo livello fuori terra contenenti locali tecnici e spogliatoi.
E\u2019 stato riscontrato un elevato rischio di liquefazione pertanto la particolarit\u00e0 del progetto \u00e8 consistita nella progettazione delle fondazioni dell\u2019ampliamento e nella verifica delle fondazioni esistenti considerando tale fenomeno.<\/p>

In particolare, sono stati scelti micropali di diametro \u03c6 220 mm di lunghezza L= 15.0 m e L= 22.0 m e pali tipo FDP \u03c6 600 mm di lunghezza L= 15.0 m da impiegarsi nella porzione di palazzetto esistente, e pali tipo FDP \u03c6 600 mm di lunghezza L= 22.0 m nella zona di ampliamento (setti sismoresistenti e nuova tribuna).
Sono stati impiegati anche dreni sub-orizzontali quale intervento di mitigazione del rischio di liquefazione nella porzione locali tecnici\/spogliatoi esistenti.<\/strong> Alla luce dall\u2019elevato rischio di liquefazione, nella progettazione delle fondazioni si \u00e8 tenuta conto della teoria di Madabhushi, Cubrinovski e di tanti altri autori impegnati nella progettazione dei pali di fondazione in presenza di liquefazione.<\/p>
