Cologna, located in via Fossa Lavezzola, 83 in the municipality of Berra (FE). The foreseen silos have a circular section with a diameter of 16.4 m, a height of 17.65 m and a height at the ridge of the conical cover equal to 22.65 m.<br \/>The bottom structure is also designed to house 6 trusses to support the upper walkway of the silos and an end truss for loading and unloading grain.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-descrizione-progetto.jpg&#8221; title_text=&#8221;fondazioni-sili-descrizione-progetto&#8221; align=&#8221;center&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.11&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;2. Layout CAMPO PROVE&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.10.7&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A view of the elevated structure of the silos is also shown.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-struttura.jpg&#8221; title_text=&#8221;fondazioni-sili-struttura&#8221; align=&#8221;center&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.11&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.10.7&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>The foundations were calculated according to non-traditional criteria, now also covered by the technical standards NTC2008; in particular reference was made to mixed foundations, or as it is more correct to say, piled raft foundations [PRF].<br \/>Considering a piled raft it is possible to optimize the design of the foundation in terms of resistance (the bearing capacity of the complex of piles plus slab is adequate to transfer to the ground the load on the structure in elevation), that of functionality (the arrangement, number and geometry of the piles are optimized to obtain the desired\/prescribed performance in terms of both absolute and differential settlement) and cost (you get a significant reduction in the number and\/or length of the piles considering in the design of the foundation the contribution offered by the slab, in reality always present but constantly neglected).<br \/>It is clear that, on the other hand, a greater geotechnical screening of the soil and a geotechnical analysis and modeling capacity of adequate level and great depth is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation analysis criteria that have been adopted are:<br \/>1) PDR (Poulos, Davis &amp; Randolph) analytical method.<br \/>2) Finite element calculation using Plaxis 2D software.<br \/>The Teleios study has developed an automatic calculation process that traces the PDR method, which can be seen as an evolution of it as it considers the non-linearity of the behavior of the piles (Fiorelli &amp; Franceschini, 2014).<br \/>Note in the following figure how, compared to the tri-linear constitutive bond of the bibliographic PDR, its refinement contemplates, in the range of interaction between piles and slab, a non-linear response of the piled raft.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-cedimenti.jpg&#8221; title_text=&#8221;fondazioni-sili-cedimenti&#8221; align=&#8221;center&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.11&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.10.7&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>The slab that houses the 5 new grain storage silos has a rectangular plan and planimetric dimensions of 18.40 x 94.0 m approximately.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-sezioni.jpg&#8221; title_text=&#8221;fondazioni-sili-sezioni&#8221; align=&#8221;center&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.11&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.10.7&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>The section of the slab is instead studied in a peculiar way.<br \/>There is a portion of bedplate, with a thickness of 80.0 cm, having a purely structural function of connection of the foundation piles, which is reinforced to withstand the stresses generated by the latter and that does not accommodate plants or holes of any kind so that the resistant section is not compromised. Above is a portion of the slab, suitably reinforced, dedicated to systems (ventilation, discharge silage, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>In the project have been used prefabricated piles with longitudinal section cylinder-tronchoconic (CTC). The cylindrical section has a diameter of 500 mm while the truncated cone section, 12.0 m long, will have a diameter varying between 500 mm at the top and 320 mm at the tip.<br \/>In particular, for the foundations of the 5 silos, CTC driven piles of three different lengths have been adopted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Poles Length 20.0 m CTC2000\/32-50-50 1 silo<\/li>\n<li>Piles Length 22.0 m CTC2200\/32-50-50 1 silo<\/li>\n<li>Poles Length 25.0 m CTC2500\/32-50-50 3 silos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The length was calibrated according to the stratigraphic variability found, as shown in the image that following.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-sezione-a-a.jpg&#8221; title_text=&#8221;fondazioni-sili-sezione-a-a&#8221; align=&#8221;center&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.11&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;1. Cologna<br \/><strong>UBICAZIONE INTERVENTO<\/strong>: Comune di Berra (FE), via Fossa Lavezzola, 83<br \/><strong>PRESTAZIONI SVOLTE<\/strong>: progetto come fondazione mista (piled raft foundation) per ottimizzare il numero di pali di fondazione e per controllare i cedimenti dell\u2019opera<br \/><strong>INIZIO\/FINE LAVORI<\/strong>: 2013<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=\"DESCRIZIONE PROGETTO\" _builder_version=\"4.9.9\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p><strong>DESCRIZIONE PROGETTO<\/strong><\/p><p>Sono state progettate le fondazioni di cinque nuovi sili per lo stoccaggio di granaglie che sono stati realizzati all\u2019interno della sede della cooperativa agricola C.A.P.A. Cologna, sita in via Fossa Lavezzola, 83 in Comune di Berra (FE). I sili previsti hanno sezione circolare di diametro 16.4 m, altezza di 17.65 m e altezza al colmo della copertura conica pari a m. 22.65.<br \/>La struttura fondale \u00e8 progettata anche per alloggiare n. 6 tralicci a sostegno della passarella superiore ai sili e un traliccio di estremit\u00e0 per le operazioni di carico-scarico delle granaglie.<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-descrizione-progetto.jpg\" title_text=\"fondazioni-sili-descrizione-progetto\" align=\"center\" _builder_version=\"4.9.11\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=\"2. Layout CAMPO PROVE\" _builder_version=\"4.9.9\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">Si riporta anche una vista della struttura in elevazione dei sili.<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-struttura.jpg\" title_text=\"fondazioni-sili-struttura\" align=\"center\" _builder_version=\"4.9.11\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.9.9\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p>Le fondazioni sono state calcolate secondo criteri non tradizionali, ora contemplati anche dalle normative tecniche NTC2008; in particolare <strong>si \u00e8 fatto riferimento alle fondazioni miste, o com\u2019\u00e8 pi\u00f9 corretto dire, piled raft foundations [PRF].<\/strong><br \/><strong>Considerando una piled raft \u00e8 possibile ottimizzare il progetto della fondazione<\/strong> in termini di <strong>resistenza<\/strong> (la capacit\u00e0 portante del complesso pali pi\u00f9 platea \u00e8 adeguata a trasferire al terreno il carico gravante sulla struttura in elevazione), che di <strong>funzionalit\u00e0<\/strong> (la disposizione, numero e geometria dei pali sono ottimizzate per ottenere le prestazioni desiderate\/prescritte in termini di cedimento sia assoluto che differenziale) che di <strong>costo<\/strong> (si ottiene una sensibile riduzione del numero e\/o lunghezza dei pali considerando nel progetto della fondazione il contributo offerto dalla platea, in realt\u00e0 sempre presente ma costantemente trascurato).<br \/>Evidente che, d\u2019altro canto, \u00e8 necessario un maggior vaglio geotecnico del terreno e una capacit\u00e0 di analisi e modellazione geotecnica di adeguato livello e di grande approfondimento.<\/p><p>I criteri di analisi della fondazione che sono stati adottati sono:<br \/><strong>1) Metodo analitico PDR (Poulos, Davis & Randolph)<\/strong><br \/><strong>2) Calcolo ad elementi finiti mediante software Plaxis 2D<\/strong><br \/><strong>Lo studio Teleios ha messo a punto un processo automatico di calcolo che ricalca il metodo PDR, che pu\u00f2 essere visto come una sua evoluzione in quanto considera la non linearit\u00e0 del comportamento dei pali (Fiorelli & Franceschini, 2014).<\/strong><br \/>Si noti nella seguente figura come, rispetto al legame costitutivo tri-lineare del PDR bibliografico, il suo perfezionamento contempli, nel range di interazione tra pali e platea, una risposta non lineare della piled raft.<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-cedimenti.jpg\" title_text=\"fondazioni-sili-cedimenti\" align=\"center\" _builder_version=\"4.9.11\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.9.9\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p>La platea che accoglie i 5 nuovi sili per stoccaggio granaglie ha pianta rettangolare e dimensioni planimetriche di 18.40 x 94.0 m circa.<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-sezioni.jpg\" title_text=\"fondazioni-sili-sezioni\" align=\"center\" _builder_version=\"4.9.11\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.9.9\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p>La sezione della platea \u00e8 invece studiata in maniera peculiare.<br \/>\u00c8 presente una porzione di platea, avente spessore di 80.0 cm, avente funzione prettamente strutturale di collegamento dei pali di fondazione, che viene armata per resistere alle sollecitazioni generate da questi ultimi e che non accoglie impianti o forature di alcun genere cos\u00ec che la sezione resistente non venga compromessa. Al di sopra \u00e8 presente una porzione di platea, opportunamente armata, dedicata agli impianti (aerazione, scarico insilato, ecc).<\/p><p>Nel progetto sono stati impiegati <strong>pali infissi prefabbricati a sezione longitudinale cilindro-troncoconica (CTC).<\/strong> Il tratto cilindrico ha diametro di 500 mm mentre il tratto troncoconico, di lunghezza pari a 12.0 m, avr\u00e0 diametro che varier\u00e0 tra i 500 mm in testa e 320 mm alla punta.<br \/>In particolare, per le fondazioni dei 5 sili sono stati adottati pali infissi CTC di tre diverse lunghezze:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Pali Lunghezza 20.0 m CTC2000\/32-50-50 1 silo<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Pali Lunghezza 22.0 m CTC2200\/32-50-50 1 silo<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Pali Lunghezza 25.0 m CTC2500\/32-50-50 3 sili<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>La lunghezza \u00e8 stata tarata in funzione della variabilit\u00e0 stratigrafica riscontrata, come da immagine che<br \/>segue.<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-sezione-a-a.jpg\" title_text=\"fondazioni-sili-sezione-a-a\" align=\"center\" _builder_version=\"4.9.11\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=\"1. Confronto risultati<\/strong><br \/>\u00c8 stato eseguito un confronto in termini di cedimento della fondazione mista di un silo con il metodo PDR e il programma FEM Plaxis.<br \/>Dal calcolo FEM \u00e8 stata ottenuta la seguente configurazione deformata:<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-confronto-risultati.jpg\" title_text=\"fondazioni-sili-confronto-risultati\" align=\"center\" _builder_version=\"4.9.11\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-tabella-cedimento.jpg\" title_text=\"fondazioni-sili-tabella-cedimento\" align=\"center\" _builder_version=\"4.9.11\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.9.9\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p>Con PDR \u00e8 stato ottenuto:<\/p><ul><li>Calcolo in regime <strong>LINEARE<\/strong> del complesso palo-terreno: <strong>\u03b4 = 46.4 mm<\/strong><\/li><li>Calcolo in regime <strong>NON LINEARE<\/strong> del complesso palo-terreno: <strong>\u03b4 = 34.0 mm<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Quest\u2019ultimo approccio \u00e8 quello sviluppato all\u2019interno di Teleios e consiste in uno sviluppo in ambito non lineare del metodo analitico PDR (dal nome degli autori, Poulos, Davis & Randolph).<br \/>Si riporta il confronto dei suddetti risultati in forma grafica in modo che risulti pi\u00f9 chiaro.<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/teleios-ing.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/fondazioni-sili-cedimento-verticale.jpg\" title_text=\"fondazioni-sili-cedimento-verticale\" align=\"center\" _builder_version=\"4.9.11\" _module_preset=\"default\" hover_enabled=\"0\" global_colors_info=\"{}\" sticky_enabled=\"0\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=\"3.
