They were also designed the foundations of the newly built metal walkway to connect an existing building of the hospital with the new extension.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Bulkhead geometry<\/strong><br \/>The three bulkheads designed have the following characteristics<br \/>a. <strong>Bulkhead 1<\/strong>: bulkhead with \u00d8500 mm bored piles, via Porrettana side. Permanent geotechnical ties.<br \/>b. <strong>Bulkhead 2<\/strong>: bulkhead with \u00d8250 mm micropiles adjacent to building A; it is subdivided into bulkhead 2A and 2B according to the height of the excavation to be supported and, therefore, the length of the micropiles. Temporary geotechnical tie-rods, definitive restraint of the bulkhead to the horizontal displacements carried out by the ground floor slab of the newly built extension.<br \/>c. <strong>Bulkhead 3<\/strong>: bulkhead in drilled piles \u00d8500 mm, Reno river side. Modello geotecnico&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.10.7&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>The bulkhead analysis was performed using a numerical finite element approach with the geotechnical FEM program Plaxis 2D.<br \/>In particular, the constitutive model HS SMALL was used, a hardening soil model in which it is possible to consider the non-linearity of the behavior of the soil as deformations increase but also the increased stiffness at small deformations.<br \/>The retaining structures were sized mainly in terms of deformability, containing the horizontal displacements but also the vertical ones generated on the back. This is very important since bulkhead 2 is built adjacent to the existing body A with the very function of preserving the safety and functionality even during the construction phases.<br \/>All this in the static field, considering also all the transitory configurations during the construction phases, and in the seismic field, considering that the projected work is designed in use class IV (Constructions with important public or strategic functions) and that, therefore, the seismic verifications are quite heavy.<br \/>As an example we report the most significant results obtained from the analysis of the bulkhead 1.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;1. Sono state inoltre progettate <strong>le fondazioni della passerella metallica<\/strong> di nuova realizzazione volta a connettere un corpo di fabbrica esistente dell\u2019ospedale con il nuovo ampliamento.<\/p><p><strong>1. Geometria paratie<\/strong><br \/>Le tre paratie progettate hanno le seguenti caratteristiche:<br \/>a. <strong>Paratia 1<\/strong>: paratia tirantata in pali trivellati \u00d8500 mm, lato via Porrettana. Tiranti geotecnici permanenti.<br \/>b. <strong>Paratia 2<\/strong>: paratia tirantata in micropali \u00d8250 mm in adiacenza edificio A; \u00e8 suddivisa in paratia 2A e 2B in funzione dell\u2019altezza di scavo da sostenere e, quindi, della lunghezza dei micropali. Tiranti geotecnici provvisori, ritegno definitivo della paratia agli spostamenti orizzontali espletato dal solaio di piano terra dell\u2019ampliamento di nuova realizzazione.<br \/>c. <strong>Paratia 3<\/strong>: paratia in pali trivellati \u00d8500 mm, lato fiume Reno. Modello geotecnico\" _builder_version=\"4.9.9\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><p>L\u2019analisi delle paratie \u00e8 stato eseguito impiegando un approccio numerico agli elementi finiti con il programma FEM geotecnico Plaxis 2D.<br \/>In particolare \u00e8 stato impiegato il modello costitutivo <strong>HS SMALL<\/strong>, modello hardening soil nel quale \u00e8 possibile considerare la <strong>non linearit\u00e0 del comportamento del terreno al crescere delle deformazioni ma anche la maggiore rigidezza alle piccole deformazioni.<\/strong><br \/>Le opere di sostegno sono state dimensionate soprattutto in termini di deformabilit\u00e0, contenendone gli spostamenti orizzontali ma anche quelli verticali generati a tergo. Ci\u00f2 \u00e8 molto importante visto che la paratia 2 \u00e8 costruita in adiacenza al corpo esistente A proprio con la funzione di preservarne la sicurezza e la funzionalit\u00e0 anche durante le fasi di costruzione.<br \/>Il tutto in campo statico, considerando anche tutte le configurazioni transitorie durante le fasi di costruzione, ed in campo sismico, considerando che l\u2019opera in progetto \u00e8 progettata in classe d\u2019uso IV (Costruzioni con funzioni pubbliche o strategiche importanti) e che, quindi, le verifiche sismiche risultano alquanto gravose.<\/p><p>A titolo di esempio si riportano risultati maggiormente significativi ottenuti dalle analisi della paratia 1.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=\"1.
